FIGHTING HANDBOOK

Note!: These rules have been created for the betterment of the site and to prevent any sort of unfair playing here at Interlacing Chains.

Welcome to Interlacing Chains. If you didn't know, Interlacing Chains will have many suggestive themes and profanity .Violence being a very big theme. To create a fair and more balanced fighting grounds, please read on and following this format when fighting.

CHAINS AND TECHNIQUES

Stamina Moves:

Before you start fighting, you need a set of Stamina Moves. Those Stamina Moves will be based off of the element you choose and ability. Your ability can be anything you want however, to prevent Godmoding, you'll have to type the description of your ability in your application and we will approve it before you start Role-Playing. Each member will have a limit of 10 stamina moves. The possibility of adding more moves is slim however, we might add more. You don't have to complete all 10 stamina moves right away. You can add one and as time progresses, just put more. Please put each stamina move in a separate post so we will know who's added more and who hasn't. More information on Stamina Moves will be located [insert link here]

Chains:
Over to the left of your post, you have three bars. Endurance, Strength, and Intelligence. Each of these bars are called your "Chains". They are the source of your power. After each day, your Chains will replenish. Each Stamina Move you use will cost you a certain amount of Strength and Intelligence so remember to keep track of how much your using. Your Endurance is basically your life. Once you run out, the opponent has a choice of leaving you unconscious or dead. If you are unconscious, you will need to go to the hospital immediately. You can visit the Hospital if you have less than 10 points in each bar.

How to get more Chain Points:

1. The most common way to gain points is by fighting/sparring. However, you HAVE to send a link to the fight to [insert admin here] and only this admin or else you will not receive the points. You will get a range of 1-3 points in Strength depending how good the fight was.

2. Participate in the Plot! Not too hard, all you have to do it follow it and contribute something to it. Make sure you contribute more than one thing. You don't have to be part of the Corporation or Investigation to get points. Something simple could be finding out information for either side. Of course, your character has to find it out on himself/herself or it'll be metagaming. To prevent metagaming, you could visit 'The Speakeasy', a newspaper business/information shop, to obtain your information. You gain small amounts of points at a time and it depends on how much you contribute

3. Recruiting Members. Have any family or friends interested in anime? Want some chains points as well? Well recruit them and get 1-2 intelligence points! 1 point for just recruiting another member , 2 points if they are active.

4. Participating in Contests. There will be a few contests in the OOC where you can enter to gain points. If you win and many people participate in it, you can score a lot of points fast!

5. Social Status. There are a total of 6 ranks. Each time you move up a rank, you get 10 chain points in each bar. However, you have to PM Admin in order to get those points. To rank up, you have to reach a certain number of post

Lowest
- Underclass (250 posts) +10 in each bar
- Working Poor (1000 posts) +10 in each bar
- Working Class (2000 posts) +10 in each bar
- Lower Middle Class (3000 posts) +10 in each bar
- Upper Middle Class (4000 posts) +10 in each bar
- Capitalist (5000 posts) +10 in each bar
Highest

More soon to Come~!

How To Fight

Interlacing Chains has a more unique way of fighting. Please follow this format in all serious fights you engage in. If you call a spar, you do not have to follow it. A serious battle would be a battle that could affect your character or the site RP-wise

Step 1: Copy and Past your Approved Technique

After your stamina move has been approved, it means you can use it for battle!
What you do is copy the move and paste it in your post.

EXAMPLE:
*gets hit and falls backwards*

Weapon Name: none
Technique: Replenish
Chains Required: Varies depending how much the impact cost
Endurance Deduction: none
Description: After the opponent attacks, Replenish can replenish all the endurance that was lost in that attack however, after each use of this technique, the amount of Endurance gained back will cut in half each time. For example, the first use, all of your endurance comes back, 2nd use, half of your endurance will come back, 3rd use 1/4 of your endurance lost will come back
Disadvantages: Can only use 3 times per battle. Each time it is used, less endurance points will come back
Advantages: It heals fatal wounds

Step 2: Keep Track of your Chain Points

To make it easier, keep track of how many points you lost and/or gained throughout the battle. This will help you and your opponent when battling here on Interlacing Chains. You don't have to keep track in every post but every 3-5 posts would be helpful.

(10 strength, 2 intelligence, 19 endurance) [/quote]

". . .when there is no crime?" will be the 2nd half of the quote. In order to get your application approved, you need to send two halves of a quote. This is the second half, the first half will be located in the Rules and Regulations. Please do read both of them. When you are done, PM Izaya* and we will get your application done as soon as possible! Please name your PM "Application. (once you're done that it)
